St. George

We sat down as a family and decided on some activities we wanted to put on our Summer Leap List (we used "leap" as in, before we leap into the next school year instead of kicking the bucket ;) )
Here is one side of it, all color-coded to boot! It was filled with some fun things, and we actually did most of them. Next year we might only make it one side.

We started out with Dad's request to go to St. George and ride wave runners. We were all going to ride them until we heard about a gross thing in the water called "swimmers itch" and decided we didn't want to spend our fun weekend feeling itchy, so we opted out. Steve still went, and ended up being fine--of course!
We went to St. George in June with Steve's family. They have a home down there that we are lucky enough to stay in when we go there!
Penelope is terrible in the car, so the ride down was a bit of a nightmare. Luckily, we had taken my parent's Excursion down so we had a bit more room. Halfway there I had to go in the back and sit with her and keep her entertained for the next 2 hours with food and toys. We were both nearly in tears by the time we got there. She was thrilled to hang out here on there grass while we unpacked the car.

This is my favorite outfit on her. I love anything vintage-y!

I found this Spidey swimsuit and rash guard for Oliver right before we left, and then found the goggles and web fins while we were down there. I knew they had to be his!

He was thrilled to say the least!

One night we went to Julie's friend's AMAZING house. It was so beautiful, and they had a gorgeous backyard and swimming pool they let use. We thought it would be fun if we all jumped in together!

SPLASH!

We had a great time, and hope we can go to that great house again next time we go!!
