Exhibit A:
He digs through the garbage

Exhibit B:
*ham slices swirled in watermelon flavored yogurt (delectable!) *tortilla chips dunked in water water until soggy *fries in caramel dip

*toast in cream of wheat (not too bad)
*what goes better with a sucker than tiny bits of hair?
And my all time favorite:
*hot dogs in orange juice
{Please note: I do not intentionally feed him these foods at the same time. He requests them.}
I realize he is only 17 months, but the boy can talk. I'm just so glad to finally have a child who eats, I put all my squeamishness aside and am just grateful that he's eating something!
Exhibit C:
He thinks every meal will be his last. When he was about one year old, he would cry for food every time we would walk past the kitchen. My dad used to do it over and over as a joke! When I take him out of his high chair to wash his hands, he scoops food scraps furiously out the sink (no matter what it is) and tries to shove it in his mouth as fast as he can! Double yuck.
Frantic because I took some birthday cake away
Exhibit D:
Not only does he eat the food, he tries to eat the dinnerware as well!

Exhibit E.
He loves to play in/with his food. Steve insists if he continues to do this, he is going to make an appearance on the Jerry Springer show one day as someone with a food fetish. I think he's truly worried. I have to keep reminding him he's just a baby! Yes, that's cottage cheese in his hair. I sometimes have to wash his hair twice a day.
Exhibit F:
He can't get the food in fast enough. One spoon just isn't enough sometimes!
Aaaaahhhh
Exhibit G:
No, the camera did not catch him with his eyes closed. He savors every bite.
And since he can't reach any of the cupboards himself, he gets a little help from his partner in crime. No, I did not let him eat those. I walked out of the kitchen to get something, walked back in, and this is what I found.
Exhibit H:
A day full of eating can be exhausting! But heaven forbid he go to bed without a bottom full of water in his sippy cup!
glut, glut, glut, glut!
