Okay, so it's been a while (quite a while) since I've blogged. But not without good reason!
A.We've been finishing our basement and I haven't had access to this computer with all my pictures on it
2. I haven't been able to get my head out of the toilet long enough to do anything other than the basics around here. And I mean the EXTREME basics. Laundry has not even counted as a basic, so thank heaven for my mom.
D. The guilt of having so many things to catch up on other than blogging have made this a bit less of a priority. But if I don't start now I won't have time to catch up until the new baby is at least 1 year old. So here I go. Little by little....
For my Halloween costume I tied a sash around my waist and donned a necklace that said this on one side....
with our new baby's ultrasound on the other!
It took some people a minute to get it, but everyone was freaking out by the time they figured it out. My client and friend Lesa took these pics of me at her house. She is so cute and loves my kids to come by every year. She always spoils them with giant candy bars or stuffed animals, fun games, etc. Thanks Lesa, you are the best!

I made this spider bread one night for dinner with some broccoli cheese soup.
It's way easy....just use Rhodes frozen bread dough and voila!

Spidey got so into the "Purple People Eater" dance I couldn't breathe, I was laughing so hard! He took it way seriously, and the best part is he was the only one doing it!

Hudson surprised me by participating this time. He was so enthusiastic about it too!
I was so proud of what a little performer he was--he didn't seem a bit nervous!
Maybe a little too at ease...in the middle of one of the songs he walked across all the chairs to the bathroom. He left the door open so I figured he was going to blow his nose. Next thing I know, I hear him piddling away, and then the toilet flushing! I was mortified!! He didn't even break stride getting back into place and finishing his performance. That's our Hud!
He was so cute and proud walking in his little parade around the classroom.
This was the first year we've carved pumpkins. I've been waiting until I thought the boys were old enough to care, but apparently they still have zero interest. So here was Steve doing it all by his lonesome.
They loved them when they were finished though! Hudson wanted a "mean face" and of course Oliver wanted a spider. Shocker!
Halloween night we took the kids trick-or-treating with their cousins on the Slaugh side. I'm so glad they have such fun cousins close by!
