After 3 straight weeks of school we still haven't gotten an answer out of Hudson about what he does while he's there. I was starting to wonder if he even knew what he did?
Well we had a breakthrough at our house last night! I was making dinner and this cute boy was sitting up at the kitchen table eating a snack. Here's how our conversation went:
Me: What was your favorite part about school today?
Or was there anything that you didn't like?
Hudson: Chase is not very nice. He's mean. He hits. That's not really good manners.
Me: That isn't very nice. You make sure you don't hit anybody okay? Is there anybody
who is nice to you?
Hudson: Emma.
It was the cutest little conversation! Hudson hardly ever talks to me about anything {he's much too busy} and it felt like such a "real mom" moment! Have you ever had any of those? When all of a sudden it just hits you that you're a mom doing mom stuff?

It's like the time I bought Capri Suns for the first time... I thought, "Wow! I can't believe I have kids old enough to drink these! I remember drinking them myself not too long ago! I'm really a mom!!"

So I want to hear...what was your "Real Live Mom Moment"??
