That's me, giving a HUGE sigh of relief.
I've been the tinsiest bit busy with a little project, and I'm D-O-N-E done!
Most of you know, but for those of you who don't, Steve and I are hoping to adopt another baby!
There is an insane amount of paper work we have had to do, and I finally finished every last page of it! The next step in the process is to have individual interviews, a home study, and then we can FINALLY be approved and have our profile on the It's About Love LDS Family Services website. We're almost there, and I'm so excited!
And here's something else exciting....
I have two darling friends who wanted to do something to help me, so they suggested a fundraising boutique to help us spread the word. I have sweet friends and family members all making scrumptious things to sell, and everything we're selling will have one of our adoption "pass along" cards on it, so if anybody knows anyone who is pregnant and considering adoption will be able to contact us.
So here's the scoop:
It's going to be held
Saturday, July 17th
8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
in the parking lot of a little store called "Abode" in Sugarhouse 1720 S. 900 E.
There will be all sorts of vendors there...it's a fun, outdoor Paris flea market/boutique
Here's some of the fun things you can expect to see there:

Yes, those are my cupcakes! Along with those oh-so-cute and yummy things, we'll have darling picture frames with original artwork for kids' rooms, burp cloths, binky clips, car seat blankets, vinyl letter home decor, flea market treasures, and handmade jewelry from Chartreuse by Katie Waltman (sold exclusively at Four and Twenty Sailors)!!
So please come!! Tell all your friends and family! Help us spread the word that we are looking for a baby. The more people that know, the better chance we have to be able to add to our family.
Thanks!
And a big thanks to Alyson and Amanda for putting this together and crafting for me, and to Chels, Katherine, Christy, and Katie for all of your talents, time and effort for our family.
Now come SHOP!!
