Penelope: 1 month photos

Pippi had her first photo shoot! I loved the photographer. She was so great with her, and had tons of patience waiting for the perfect shot. She wore warm gloves when she needed to touch Penelope and had a heater and a white noise machine going the whole time. It was serious business! I love how they turned out...

I can't believe my little bird is one month old!

We love you, sweet girl!

A Sparkling 4th!

We spent the 4th of July this year at our family cabin in Bear Lake. We couldn't believe how high the lake was...it was crazy!

Here are the kiddieloos after church on Sunday afternoon.

Gretel loved holding "Baby Penelope". She was also my feeding friend all weekend. Whenever it was time for me to feed Penelope, Gretel was there in a flash climbing all over me and smothering Penelope with kisses. She would periodically ask: "Hab, who's under the blankie?" Even though she knew darn well. It was too funny!

Here's all the gang that was there. The Rawlings clan, my fam and our little family. Notice where Oliver is. In Peter Parker's arms. Hillary and her hubby Brian came up later that afternoon.

Here's "P.J." in all her 4th of July glory. All weekend everyone kept trying out different nicknames just to bug me. P.J. has become a favorite to taunt me with. As in "I can't wait until P.J. can play softball!" J.C. "Penny" was another one that I put the kibosh on.

Her nicknames that have gotten the A-O.K. are Pippi and The Pipster. Steve likes to call her Pippi Jane.

The three stooges enjoying a movie before bed.

Proud Papa

Ollie caught in a rare moment of affection.

I can't believe my Sweet P is 3 weeks already!

Hud and his latest jag--Transformers

What a cute little hobbit Ollie is!

Hudson and the love of his life. He wants to marry "Gret". He and Ollie fight over who's going to kiss her all the time. What darling little cousins!

I love the looks on both of their faces. Oliver looks so lost in the moment.

Happy 4th of July 2011
