Poolin' Around

We soaked up the last of the summer sun at the pool on Labor Day this year.

And I know I'm their mother and I shouldn't say things like this, but have you ever seen such cute little boys in your entire life? They are such good buddies.

While we were swimming a guy said to Ollie: "I like your hat, buddy!"
Ollie said: "Thanks, it makes me swim faster."

{I love that he came to that conclusion on his own. I've never even talked about his little swim cap. He just put it on and off he went!}

Don't they look like two old men sitting in a hot tub? {You've seen them, haven't you?}

Hud really loves swimming. He's gotten so brave this year!

Ollie is getting pretty brave himself. He always tells me to go sit on the stairs so he can swim by himself. He loves his water wings!

We'll miss the sun this winter, but thank heaven for indoor pools to keep us in the "swim" of things!
